Andrea Corr's first solo effort is expected to be released early this Fall. That probably means around late-September or early-October. The only other info known about it is that it will contain and possibly be lead by the song tentatively titled either "Molly Bloom" or "Ideal World".

With Caroline, Sharon, and Jim all raising families now, it's no wonder that Andrea took the opportunity to try a solo album. Of course, this by no means indicates the end of The Corrs. They're merely on a break while they get their family lives under control. I'd expect a new album from them shortly after Andrea finishes her solo promotion, possibly late 2007 or sometime in 2008.

One suggestion: birth control.

just kidding, I'm looking forward to Andreas album. Whatever happened to the short film she did? I saw the preview months ago, very well done!

The Bridge, Andrea's short film, is coming out really soon, I believe.

She also has 2 other movies in the works, Broken Thread and Knife's Edge.

I wouldn't expect a new Corrs album.......I am almost sure they are tired of it all

Nope. They've said numerous times that they're not tired of it. They collectively decided to take a break since it worked out that both Jim and Sharon were having babies at the same time. Jim's also getting married shortly.

That's just it, it was filmed even longer ago. They've spoken many times since then about how they still love it and never see themselves stopping. They may slow down, but never stop.

The album will be called Present.

Also, it is being produced by Nellee Hooper.

Hmm. She was a producer for No Doubt. Hmm. I hope Andrea doesn't go all Gwen Stefani/Nelly Furtado/Xtina on us.

James - The documentary is called All The Way Home and is just FANTASTIC. It shows everything, from the first performance ever to the making of 'Home'. When they first performed, it is soooo similar to the Tech Noir footage I have seen.

Well I have to hear the music first, but The Corrs are just so unique and great. I understand though. They have been very dedicated, so with that they deserve a break. Besides, it isn't likely they will break up. They are bound by blood!!!!
