First the signing was supposed to begin at Virgin Megastore Louvre, 2pm. So I arrived around 1:20pm. The queue was already huuuuge! A lot of mixed people (not only gay! lol)... 1 hour later I was in front of them!

They looked so hot! Both Lena & Yulia signed my All About Us maxi cd.
You couldn't take pic during the signing (fucking bodyguards!) so I ended talking to her a bit. Basically I said I liked Yulia short hair and Lena looked so hot in her dress in the Friend or Foe video. They were like "aww thank you"! These girls are so sweet! They are not like the media are describing them at all! Yulia even stared at me with her lovely eyes and gave me THE smile!

Then they took their mic and began to sing in front of me! OMG! http://www.sayhey.co.uk/invboard/html/emoticons/hyper.gif They sounded real cool! People were crazy!

Finally the signing session ended and the professional took their pics. I managed to take some pics but I was so far and there was too much people. They singed a bit more together with the crowd and left at 3:20pm.

My pics are very bad (only one is alright) but I meet them, talk to them and that's all matter for me!

I'm really disappointed in the FOF video. I thought there'd be more of a story. The video for AAU was AMAZING!

I got the album in September, I think.... It's great. I really like "I Only Want What I Can't Have" -- very pretty music.

What's the next single? How well is the album doing?

In France they are #11 on the single charts and #24 on the album ones with almost no promotion.
With all the promo they are doing in France this week, they'll be in the top 10 next week for sure. There were so much people buying AAU and D&M today!

All About Us is doing great in a lot of countries also.

The album isn't doing as good but they are still promoting and the sales will probably be better when they'll release the Friend Or Foe. However, in Russia, Dangerous and Moving and Lyudi Invalidy (russian version) were tied for #1!

Gomenasai is rumoured to be the next single. According to another rumour, they did shoot the video in Japan last month...

Or maybe it will be Dangerous And Moving/Lyudi Invalidy (first single in Russia). The video for this one is great too... especially the end which is very disturbing.

Btw, Craving was my least fave song on the album at first but it's grown on me. It's the only sog produced by Trevor Horn (main producer on 200km/h in the Wrong Lane).

They appeared on popworld on Saturday morning (miming), and right after the song, the presenter said... "And we never saw them again. Back after the break!" which was quite cruel but it did make me laugh.

Are there any plans for a tour? I'd definitely go on that. Last time the UK concerts were cancelled :(

I don't know about the UK but maybe they are trying something different now... considering no one buys their lesbian image anymore.

They haven't released anything in the US from the 2nd album... however they did release All About Us in South America and Mexico.

New music video “Gomenasai” has been shot and is now being cut. Exclusive report from Los Angeles…

Los Angeles, West Hollywood. It’s still dark. Eight hours ago t.A.T.u. arrived to the US – both of them are heavily jet-lagged. Girls had been woken up at 4 AM – at least Lena, since Julia, as usually, didn’t sleep at all. At 5 AM they have to go to the location. And oh man, in t.A.T.u.’s hotel breakfast is served only from 6 AM. Lena and Julia grab one red apple each in the lobby and walk to the car. At the dawn of the day and the stubs of the apples girls make it to the location – botanical garden not far away from the city.

Julia: I have a feeling we won’t start action before midday…
Lena: Morning comes so swiftly, doesn’t it?...

A big bus - dressing-room - lounge equipped with carpets, shower, kitchen and a couple of stylists is waiting for our singers. The work begins over the girls’ make-up and hair-styles. A person responsible for breakfast comes frequently in and out of the bus, asking his itemizing questions.
Julia gets cold in such a draught, so she sends breakfast-man a “message” every time: «Человек, закрой ставни! (Man, shut the jalousie!) Please, close the door!» At last, their favorite “raisin bran” flakes, fruits and coffee are served. Breakfast. They pin Lena’s hair to protect freshly styled curls.

At this moment the final touches are still being applied to Julia’s face “drawing”. As usually, Julia “can’t get no satisfaction”. She intensely digs stylist’s bag in a search for necessary sticks and starts correcting her eyes and cheeks. Julia has got new trend now – she doesn’t do make-up at all while in Moscow. So it’s uncomfy for her to feel cosmetics on her skin again: “It’s like I’ve got bricks on my eyelashes...”

The first part of filming begins around 9 AM, and takes place in a pavilion. The video has no ploy, just “style”. Everything is intended to be “beautifully simple, simply beautiful” – black polo-necks and bright, starry faces of the girls in front of a black background. Close-ups. First separately, then together. In the last scene director asks Julia to cry. Girls are absolutely against... ...such a move (this is not t.A.T.u. at all!), they argue and finally win – Lena gives genial and simple reason: “There’re obvious words in the song – «…when I wanted to cry / I COULDN’T 'cause I / Wasn't allowed»“. Director surrenders.

The second part is shot in botanic garden itself, decorated with gothic statues “a-la Notre Dame de Paris”. It looks romantic. Lena and Julia wear minimalistic black suites contrasted with rough shoes. Scenes does not require special acting. The idea is that girls are just supposed to walk around the garden. During breaks singers are being wrapped into warm down-jackets: Los Angeles exercises “non-Los-Angeles’s” chill weather accompanied by wind blowing from the ocean. From time to time director tries to keep girls alive, since Lena and Julia tend to fall asleep and already dream about “Red Bull” for a couple of hours. Finally, the director says the last “CUT!” Shooting is finished around 5 PM, everybody is dog-tired, unable even to eat. Hotel, sleep… By the way, the music video was shot for the West. For Russia, t.A.T.u. are preparing quite a different song.
