A-ha!!!!!

so tomorrow I'm going to my very first A-ha concert! its so weird, im nervous for it! I wasnt even nervous when I knew I was going to meet the aces and now I am over a concert! WHAAAA!!!

So has anyone else seen them perform? is anyone going to? Has anyone seen their new video? It's called celice, its from their new album analogue. Celice will be used in the movie: da vinci code! yep... I hope its gonna be the song for the movie so they get some more publicity again!

People always say to me: You like a-ha? are they still together? I dont like their music...well shut up! those people usually do like keane or coldplay something similar to that. well, coldplay/keane both admitted that if it wasnt for a-ha, they wouldnt have made the kinda music they make now. so coldplay fans/keane fans, go listen to a-ha!!!

I do like them, I even have "Minor Earth Major Sky" and Morten is quite fit! It didn't occur to me they were "out"; tho... I always thought they were a cool band and everyone liked them. Maybe it's a German thing?

And naturally I am joining Laura in this concert. I am less nervous, or not at all, but happy to go and see them!

Their music went from happy pop like 'Take On Me' to really good stuff, lyric-wise aswell.
Check out 'lifelines', or 'did anyone approach you'. It's good!

and yes, a-ha has never been "out" in germany, so yes, thats a german thing, like ace of base! they have one thing in common, so it seems!

Oh do I? Then I mixed them up! But I'm sure I have a burnt copy of MEMS cos I used to listen to "Summer Moved On" which was so good!

Did you find Memorial Beach in the meanwhile? I remember you desperately wanted to have it.

yeah, I found it in march....they had it everywhere in sweden!

this summer val found it for 2 euros or something, WHAAAA!!!

its one of their best cd's....its a transition from the old pop into the music they make now.

summer moved on is such a beautiful song! they have their own style which is what I love about them!

You guys have fun, & please post pics of Morten & Mags here. I don't like Pal that much....no, not because of his looks (lack of them), I just don't like his attitude in interviews.

Morten is not Ulf, but I do think he has aged so well, & very close.

Laura will post about the concert in length, but I will share my opinion aswell.

The concert was nice, but not really intensively good. They shortened the setlist cause they had to perform (read:lipsync) at this crappy Dutch TV show about domino.

Morten's voice was good. They played lots of older songs which was good for me cause I haven't heard the new album in full yet. 'Celice' is good tho!

so, I finally got to see them!
It was great but not a 100%... You could sense that they had to do more than only this performance...
too bad... my sister had looked for the setlist so I was anxious to see those songs! whilst the concert I noticed they were skipping songs, HUH!?!
and then they left the stage for 2 secs, came back did a few more songs and just left, HUH, whats going on?
they left for a crappy playback session at this stupid domino d-day thingy.
So they left happy fans, that paid 40 euros, for some stupid domino thing where nobody knows them and where they dont even sing live, WHAT!?!?!

Morten sung with some flaws but overall it was a perfect performance! It was great to see 'take on me' and 'the living daylights' live, finally....
some people say morten was high, thats with all artists once they're in Amsterdam....
mike, yes, he has aged so well!!!! no surgery or whatsoever!
but then magne, WOWOWOWOWOW!!!! too bad he's married, even if he wasn't, I'm too young for him, he's an artist, im a fan, LIKE THAT'LL HAPPEN! he looks great! he's blonde, I'm atrackted to dark, but still, he's got the looks!(pal looks like he's ill:-|)

mike, I remember! so, have u seen duran duran since then?
they're performing in antwerp in january, hoping to go there...getting there isnt the problem, going back is...but my sis has some friends that like them and that have a car so I hope there's no problem!

great to hear that you liked the show ... but still stupid that they left for the domino day ... I know they are coming to berlin soon .... but I'm not sure when. Well I wanted to see them as well, even if I'm not the big fan I like their old songs and some of the new ones too. But after NOTP I skipped that hoping that I will get another chance to see them once ... did that once with Savage Garden LOL you all know what happened ... so I hope A-HA will stick together at least for a while
