I'm In Ohio but will travel anywhere in the US/Canada or Mexico for a American Acer Meeting. Even willing to host it here at my home Have lots of Room and too much AoB stuff

I'm in Houston TX. I wil travel if I can swing it since I have two other trips planned lol. sigh. We should all plan something when they do their America tour. I can't wait.

A U.S. meeting would be awesome! Thanks to Torontian Acer, Malina, there was a North American meeting put together back in June 2004. She took a vote, and Toronto was chosen that summer. There were, I believe, four or five Acers who attended. There were pictures posted at THB3. Looks like they all had fun!

There was talk about hosting an annual North American Acer Meeting, but that never took off. For that to happen, there needs to be, at least, one main organizer to start the ball rolling. As soon as we hear more information on American locations of this supposed "world tour" in 2009, we can think about brainstorming activities and ideas. If it's near the central southern part of the country, then I would be willing to help out with events and the likes.

Any ideas we can start with?

If anyone's willing to come to the southwest this summer, then I will organize the second North American Acer Meeting! I mean it! There are some great things to see and do around here! It's not just the east or the west with all the fun stuff. :-)

OK I'm IN for a N.A. Acer Meeting.. I have 1 week vacation left. Was thinking of going back to Tucson, AZ. I know an Acer in PHX, AZ. Maybe she'll come too. Just need to know Place?? Date??

Hmmm....perhaps, I should start a new thread to lure in some victims...errr...I mean, Acers? :devil:

I'm not sure about Phoenix, Tucson or even Las Vegas. The temperatures get way over 100F (or, 38C+), and that kind of weather can be quite intolerable for people who aren't used to it. Hmmm....ideas, ideas.... Perhaps Colorado, New Mexico or Texas?

I'm planning to get my arse over the the States this year for work after like 2 years of saying I'm going to do it.........

I'm looking at NY due to cost and agency location... But would prefer to go elsewhere and there's work available elsewhere anyway...

So, depending on dates and location and cost etc, I may turn up :D ...If I'm allowed :teehee: :bl:
