I've bought yesterday this cd and dvd, both come together! It was quite cheap 4 having a cd and a dvd (aprx. 21 euros!)
It soo great to have a live album, altough i was hoping to have the all Re-Invention Tour songs on it...still, I really like it, specially the "i Love New York" version, great song indeed!

The DVD...a documentary...I spent the night watching it, and is great cause it has some parts of the Re-Invention Tour...but I really wanted the WHOLE concert! (I'm wondering when will it be released!). Still, the documentary is interesting, you see everything since the thebeginning of Re-invention Tour!

Anyone has already bought it? What u think?

I bought it yesterday as well!

I thought the documentary was a little dull, actually. The only parts I liked were the songs from the show. Although I think her husband was quite funny!

And I was really touched by the part where she was talking about "soul mates", and how if you meet someone and think they are perfect you should run in the other direction. She said that your "soul mate" is the person that pushes your buttons, pisses you off, and won't let you get away with anything. It makes me think I've been looking for the wrong thing... LOL

Other than that the documentary was pretty blah blah blah boring.

God, please don't use Madonna as a guide to finding a soul mate haha! She's had more soul mates than I've had contact lenses. This documentary was very boring and Madonna tried to come across as being nice for a lot of the time, when in fact, I do not believe she is actually a very nice person.

Heard the live tracks in HMV though and they sound great! I may get it for that, oh an the New York song too. I can't help but think how much better her album would have been made more in that style. Maybe it wouldn't have hit my shelf so quickly after I bought it...

What does the New York song sound like? I'm tempted to buy the DVD, even though Madge has disappointed me the last few times she released something.

Haha! And you'd prefered the album to be like that?

I'm tempted to buy the DVD

The cd comes with the Dvd :=)

I bought it because of the CD..the dvd sounded more like an extra, as what i really expect to be released is the re-invention Tour Dvd.

I got the DVD-CD yesterday and I must say I loved it. It's very interesting to see a documantary like that and although she seems to much kind I think it reflects a big deal of the things she represents lately.

The few performances are fantastic and I'd love to see the whole Re-Invention tour on DVD.

I don't like the kabbalah part where she seems to be part of a sect and trying make everyone to follow it. I don't like seeing Madonna obeing to rules whether they are government or religion imposed.

To me she's the most outstanding female artist ever and the dvd just proves it.

Haha! And you'd prefered the album to be like that?Yes, if it replaces awful lyrics with guitar riffs :)

Tom - I agree. The being nice to the dancers, the eternal praying before the shows. I don't buy it Madge! I think she is probably a total bitch.
